OBJECTIVE of the event:
The Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF), National Contact Point for the "Horizon Europe" Program of the European Union, in collaboration with the European Research Executive Agency (REA), is organizing an info day with physical presence, about the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Staff Exchanges Action.
The Staff Exchanges Action finances short-term international, cross-sectoral and interdisciplinary staff exchanges of any kind that participate in research and innovation (R&D) activities in the participating organizations. The Action is open to all scientific areas.

TARGET GROUP:
The event is aimed at researchers, academic and research organizations, businesses, SMEs, NGOs and other non-academic organizations.
Particular emphasis will be placed on the participation of non-academic organizations and businesses in the Action, and on the benefits they can obtain through the creation of new cross-sectoral and international cooperation networks, the transfer of know-hows, access to innovative equipment and state-of-the-art technologies and more.
The participants will have the opportunity to be informed about the new announcement of the Staff Exchanges Action, and to ask their questions directly to the representative from the European Commission, Mrs. Katerina Lazaridou (REA). Afterwards, Dr. Paris Fokaides, from Frederick University, Dr. Sotirios Chatzis, from the Cyprus University of Technology and Mr. Nikolas Valanides, from Mountain Berries Pitsilia will give useful advice based on their previous participation experience. The services offered to candidates by the National Contact Points (NCPs) of Cyprus will also be presented.
Finally, depending on interest , a networking event will be held with the aim of creating contacts between the academic and non-academic sectors, for eventual joint participation in proposals. Each participant will have 2 minutes to present their organization and/or idea. Interested parties can register their interest in participating in the networking event through the registration form.
