Intellectual Property Section, DRCIP
The Intellectual Property Section of the Department of Registrar of Companies and Intellectual Property (DRCIP) promotes the protection and exploitation of intellectual property rights. It constitutes the competent authority of the Republic of Cyprus for maintaining a reliable register for all registered intellectual property rights.
The Intellectual Property Section is one of the two sections of the Department of Registrar of Companies and Intellectual Property, which operates under the auspices of the Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry.
Its mission is to improve the protection of the intellectual property rights in Cyprus by providing the maximum information and support to beneficiaries and by monitoring the register of Trade marks, Patents and Industrial Designs in the Republic of Cyprus.

Central Knowledge Transfer Office, RIF
Aiming to enhance and support activities for knowledge transfer (KT) and research commercialization, the Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) will proceed with the establishment of a Central Knowledge Transfer Office (KTO) with the fundamental objective to support researchers, innovators and entrepreneurs to transform their ideas into marketable products, services and solutions that will benefit the society and the economy. The central KTO will operate within the RIF, providing added-value KT support services to Universities, Research Organizations and Enterprises complementing the RIF funding provided to R&I projects.
